Richard has practiced law in Mammoth Lakes for almost 40 years. Before moving to Mammoth Lakes in 1981, he was in-house counsel to a substantial real estate development company in southern California building communities throughout the state. Richard and his wife Nancy raised their family in Mammoth Lakes and currently reside in Crowley Lake. He was instrumental in creating the Starwood golf course and the various projects that surround that course in the heart of Mammoth Lakes. In 1986 he went into private practice focusing on all aspects of real estate and small business for almost 35 years. He has represented clients throughout Mammoth Lakes, June Lake, Lee Vining, Bridgeport, Walker/Coleville, Chalfant Valley, Bishop, Big Pine, Independence, Lone Pine and Tecopa. Not only has he developed a reputation as a skilled negotiator, business attorney, advocate before multiple government entities, and litigator, but he also provides mediation services both privately and as requested by the Courts. He works as a team with the other attorneys in the office providing insight and experience to all aspects of the civil practice this firm offers its clients.
